The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) has announced that its board of trustees has increased the size of the board from 27 to 31 members, electing Alan Davis, Dana Mohler-Faria, Richard L. Pattenaude and Eric Winegardner to the board. Davis was appointed to the innovation and policy committee, Mohler-Faria was appointed to the innovation and policy and sales and marketing committees, Pattenaude was appointed to the employer services and sales and marketing committees and Winegardner was appointed to the employer services and sales and marketing committees.
“Our new board members have an outstanding track record of innovation in higher education and career management,” said CAEL President and CEO Pamela Tate. “Their talents and abilities in these fields will be a tremendous asset to our board.”
Davis serves as president of the State University of New York Empire State College, Mohler-Faria serves as president of Bridgewater State University, Pattenaude serves as chancellor of the University of Maine System, and Winegardner is vice president of client adoption for Monster Worldwide.
CAEL works in the field of adult learning and workforce development, providing colleges and universities, companies, labor organizations and state and local governments with the tools and strategies they need for creating practical, effective lifelong learning.With a membership of more than 600 colleges, universities, corporations, labor unions, associations and individuals, CAEL is headquartered in Chicago and also maintains offices in Denver, Philadelphia and New York City.
