Medtech College Acquires Nursing Training Institute

Camelot Healthcare Training Institute now joins the Medtech family of schools and will become Medtech College once appropriate state approvals have been obtained.

Altamonte Springs, Fla. — March 7

Camelot Healthcare Training Institute, a post-secondary nursing and allied health care education provider in central Florida, has been acquired by Medtech College. Camelot now joins the Medtech family of schools and will become Medtech College once appropriate state approvals have been obtained.

Medtech is nationally accredited with several campuses offering training in nursing and a number of other health care professions.

As part of Medtech’s network of schools, the Altamonte Springs campus will continue to embrace the core values and educational standards upon which it was established. The affiliation also reinforces the school’s primary focus: educating students for careers in nursing and other health care professions.

Camelot Healthcare Training Institute has been operating in central Florida since 2009. While the Medtech name is new to the region, the bond between the school and its students and community will not change, the company said. As Medtech continues to expand, the resources and programs at the Altamonte Springs campus will grow, too.
