Students across the globe now have the opportunity to learn from two Michigan State University professors in two new online certificate programs. Robert Wiseman and Tobias Schoenherr have been honored for their contributions and ground-breaking work.

Wiseman was named a 2012 Outstanding Paper Award Winner at the Literati Network’s 2012 Awards for Excellence, for his paper, “Compensation framing and the risk taking behavior of the CEO: Testing the influence of alternate reference points.” Schoenherr was selected for the 2012 Withrow Emerging Scholar award, honoring faculty members making contributions to research, teaching and service early in their careers.

The professors both teach in MSU’s online master certificates in strategic organizational leadership and management and supply chain management programs.

Wiseman, Eli Broad Legacy Fellow of Management and chair of the department of management, teaches strategic leadership and strategic management in the strategic leadership and management program.

Schoenherr, assistant professor of supply chain management, is the online strategic sourcing professor in the supply chain management certificate program.
