Among Kimmel’s principal roles at MediaTec is leading the continued growth and evolution of the LearningElite, Chief Learning Officer magazine’s peer-reviewed benchmarking program. Now in its third year, the LearningElite recognizes organizations for exemplary learning and development initiatives that closely align with strategic goals and positively impact business results. In addition, she is spearheading the initial data-gathering phase of Diversity Executive magazine’s Diversity Value Index, a pioneering, evidence-based benchmarking program designed to measure, for the first time, the business value of a diverse workforce. She also has overall responsibility for the development of HCM’s executive research briefs, editorial readership surveys and proprietary research projects for industry suppliers.
In making the announcement, MediaTec’s President and Editor in Chief Norm Kamikow and Executive Vice President and Group Publisher John R. Taggart highlighted Kimmel’s extensive experience as a business research consultant. In more than 12 years at Accenture, she focused specifically on training, learning, performance, leadership development and knowledge management. Most recently, she was a learning research strategist on Accenture’s global Capability Development Strategy Team, where she applied special expertise in the design, implementation and analysis of training and learning research, including qualitative and quantitative data analysis and human capital program measurement strategy.
“We are delighted to have Sarah joining us at such a pivotal point in human capital management and in our own organization,” said Kamikow. “As the global competitive environment continues to roil and reinvent itself, more and more organizations are recognizing the absolute imperative of having the right people, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time in order to assure their survival.
“The Human Capital Media Group is responding by providing these organizations with the data, insights, analysis and tools they need to maximize their human capital assets. As leader of HCM Research and Advisory Services, Sarah is at the forefront of what’s happening in the industry and in a unique position to help shape the future.”
