Chicago – Aug. 21
Chief Learning Officer magazine has announced the finalists for the annual Learning In Practice awards.
The Learning In Practice awards, now in their ninth year, recognize industry leaders who have demonstrated excellence in the design and delivery of employee development programs. The list of finalists can be found by visiting here.
Finalists will receive either the gold, silver or bronze award at a special awards ceremony from Sept. 19-21, 2012, during the Fall 2012 CLO Symposium at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo. The symposium is a three-day executive summit which brings more than 300 corporate learning executives from around the world to discuss innovations in enterprise education and leadership development.
“The Learning In Practice awards were established to recognize transformational and visionary leaders in enterprise education,” said Norm Kamikow, president and editor in chief of MediaTec Publishing Inc., which publishes Chief Learning Officer magazine. “More than 200 top learning executives and solution providers were nominated by their peers in 15 categories. These finalists are the industry leaders who truly champion innovation and transform it into learning and value for their organizations.”
Awards will be given to learning practitioners in seven categories, each with two divisions (Division 1 for enterprises with more than 10,000 employees, and Division 2 for enterprises with fewer than 10,000 employees). Chief Learning Officer magazine also will recognize learning solution providers and vendors with special awards for excellence in eight categories.
In addition to receiving their awards, winners will be featured in a special report in the December issue of Chief Learning Officer magazine.
