Chicago, Sept. 3, 2013 — Chief Learning Officer magazine has announced the finalists for the 2013 Learning In Practice Awards. Now in their 10th year, the Learning In Practice Awards recognize industry leaders who have demonstrated excellence in the design and delivery of employee development programs.
“The Learning In Practice awards were established a decade ago to recognize transformational and visionary leaders in enterprise education,” said Norm Kamikow, president and editor-in-chief of the Human Capital Media Group, which publishes Chief Learning Officer magazine. “The winners of these awards are widely regarded in the industry as standard bearers for the continued advancement and evolution of workforce development as a competitive business strategy. This year, more than 300 top learning executives and solution providers were nominated by their peers. The winners are the industry leaders who truly champion innovation and transform it into learning and value for their organizations.”
Gold, silver and bronze Learning In Practice Awards are presented annually. Practitioner awards recognize chief learning officers and qualified senior learning executives for their leadership in developing and executing enterprise education initiatives. Provider awards recognize qualified service providers, vendors and consultants for their work on behalf of a client organization. In addition, each year one outstanding learning executive is singled out to receive the prestigious CLO of the Year honor.
