About Micaela Newton

Micaela Newton is the Events & Marketing Manager at BetterWork Media Group, where she has been a team member since 2018. In her role, Micaela helps organize successful in-person and virtual events. She efficiently manages the entire speaker engagement process, from sourcing and evaluating potential speakers to ensuring seamless coordination and logistics on the day of the event.

Collaborating with the Director of Events and Marketing, Micaela develops and executes strategic marketing initiatives to boost brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation. She tailors campaigns to BetterWork Media Group’s niche audience and partners with the content team to produce engaging, industry-specific content.

Micaela earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Writing with a focus on interactive media from Purdue University Northwest in 2016. During her time at Purdue, two of her short stories were featured in the 2014 and 2016 editions of Writers Unblocked, the English Department’s annual publication showcasing the best student creative writing and photography.

Based in Northwest Indiana, Micaela and her husband cherish spending time with their son and two cats, Tommy and Misty. In her spare time, she loves planning gatherings and outings for her family, expanding her baking skills, attending concerts, and aspires to publish a book someday.
