Chief Learning Officer Symposium Celebrates
10th Anniversary With International Learning Community

Conference offers learning leaders unique opportunity to celebrate the evolution of the
employee development industry and forecast its future

Chicago, Feb. 3, 2014 — The international workforce development community is coming together next month to discuss key industry trends as well as mark an important milestone for one of corporate learning's most influential forums. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Chief Learning Officer magazine's CLO Symposium will be hundreds of enterprise education leaders, business executives, learning and development practitioners and human capital management experts from around the globe.

Slated for March 31 to April 2 at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, Calif., the three-day Spring 2014 CLO Symposium will focus on the theme "Building Community: Learning's Most Valuable Influence." During executive-level sessions, presenters and attendees will delve into the crucial role learning and learning networks play in encouraging engagement, enabling interaction and creating the kind of cooperative organizational spirit that leads to sustained success. Also on the agenda will be a thought-provoking exploration of the direction of the industry for the next decade.

"Over the last 10 years, the CLO Symposium has become one of the most highly regarded events in the industry and a dynamic hub of connection for the entire learning community," said Norm Kamikow, president and editor-in-chief of Human Capital Media Group, which publishes Chief Learning Officer magazine. "This year's list of registrants reads like a veritable 'Who's Who' of workforce development thought leaders, including many longtime friends and exciting newcomers. It's an exceptional opportunity to meet, collaborate and share best practices with the inspiring professionals who pioneered the early evolution of enterprise education as well as with the innovators who are shaping its future at some of today's most progressive organizations."

The Spring Symposium agenda includes keynote presentations, panel discussions, practitioner-led best practice sessions, more than 30 workshops, networking opportunities, plus special anniversary events. In keeping with the meeting's historic import and focus on community, an engaging new feature has been added to the conference agenda: Voice of the CLO mini-sessions starring current and former chief learning officers exchanging viewpoints in spirited "fireside chats."
