Arlington, Va. — Oct. 16

The American Management Association (AMA) Enterprise Government Solutions announced that Haywood Spangler will be speaking at its Nov. 1 government briefing, which will focus on enhancing government leaders’ critical thinking skills.

This briefing, designed for government professionals, will aim to provide attendees with the tools to develop the critical thinking skills necessary to tackle the challenges facing government.

Spangler, the co-developer of AMA Enterprise’s Critical Thinking seminar for government organizations, will outline a roadmap for developing these skills and will also facilitate an interactive exercise as part of the briefing.

The briefing will aim to help government employees discover how these skills challenge old assumptions; rethink conventional approaches in the context of today’s realities; choose the right techniques to identify important information, recognize assumptions and draw conclusions; and learn tools and tips on applying critical thinking in the government workplace.

The briefing will take place at AMA’s Executive Conference Center in Arlington, Va.
