Schaumburg, Ill. — Dec. 27

TrainSignal, a professional computer training provider, announced the release of its latest CompTIA Security+ training course.

The developments in IT security that are aimed to meet ever-changing security threats recently prompted CompTIA to update its Security+ certification standards. Security+ training now meets the criteria of the SY0-301 exam as the SY0-201 is phased out at the end of 2011.

As more companies look to address network security concerns by hiring quality security architects, system administrators and other technicians, skill competency validated through certification is trending to become more than preference, but rather a hard-line requirement for networking job candidates.

The course is intended to give fundamental instruction in network security concepts for individuals with A+, Network+ or other certifications, and anyone who is comfortable with the basics of networking. The course ultimately covers all topics necessary to pass the latest certification exam.

The CompTIA Security+ Training course contains 32 lessons in almost 12 hours of video instruction. Students will receive a DVD containing video lessons and additional content. Each lesson is available in several formats, iPod Video, Mp3 Audio, .WMV and high-quality AVI, allowing students to use course materials on a variety of devices.

Students can view all materials online after signing up for the course, ensuring instant access. The course also includes PDF files of instructor notes.
