Every spring, the Chief Learning Officer Symposium kicks off on a celebratory note with the LearningElite Gala to honor organizations with the very best employee-facing learning and development programs.
Those top companies are chosen by CLO Magazine editors through a selective application process. Each organization that applied to the LearningElite was measured in five dimensions: learning strategy, leadership commitment, learning execution, learning impact and business performance results. The winners were judged to represent the vanguard of innovation and have proven themselves the most proactive, forward-thinking learning organizations – in other words, they are truly the elite organizations in their field.
This year’s Gala will be hosted by Sarah Kimmel, director of research and advisory services for CLO Magazine, at the beautiful Crystal Ballroom of the Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida, on Sunday April 12.
“The rankings of the most advanced learning organizations for 2015 will be recognized, with each organization above the LearningElite benchmark categorized as bronze, silver or gold, depending on how far above the benchmark they performed. In addition, we will recognize the top performing learning organization for 2015, joining our previous top ranked organizations in the Winner’s Circle.”
In addition to honorable recognition, live entertainment will be provided by Chicago’s own The Second City during this year’s award ceremony, making for one memorable evening. @SecondCity
Before speakers and workshops get under way the following morning, learning executives from the top five 2015 LearningElite organizations will take part in a special panel session called Breakfast with the Champions.
They’ll answer questions about how they aligned learning strategy with business goals, engaged their leadership in a culture of learning, and proven the impact of learning within their organizations. This is a chance for other learning professionals to learn their secrets to success in learning and development and ask them how they’ve addressed the challenges they may be facing as well.
In the past, elite learning executives have answered important questions such as:
- What is one significant way that learning technologies have changed how the learning function operates at your organization?
- What strategies have you used to engage senior leadership in a culture of learning?
- What are the top challenges for the learning industry in 2015?
