About Delisa Dyess

Delisa Dyess is design director for health care solutions at the American Heart Association. She has put her extensive strategy and creative design execution skills to use over her career by translating medical information into empathic solutions for both health care professionals and patients. Her content expertise and focus on user experience across multiple channels have ensured positive results for patient education programs, awareness campaigns, CME programs and a variety of other efforts to inform, educate and improve outcomes in the health care continuum.

Dyess holds a Master of Arts in biomedical communication and a BA in communication and fine art. Special areas of personal and professional interest are providing better systems and health care in rural areas and improving and humanizing elder and palliative care.
