About Janet Uthman

Janet Uthman serves as vice president of inclusion and multicultural marketing for Comcast’s Northeast Division. In this role, Uthman serves as chief diversity officer for the division’s 22,000 employees responsible for driving cultural transformation, promoting organizational alignment and fostering increased diversity at all levels.

Uthman has been acknowledged as one of the most influential minority leaders in media and appeared on the Ebony magazine “Power 100 List” as one of the boldest and brightest African-American stars in corporate America. She holds an MBA from UCLA and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from UC Berkeley.
