About Katie Brown

Katie Brown, Founder and chief education officer at EnGen, holds a PhD in Second Language Acquisition and over twenty-five years of experience in language instruction, teacher training and applied language research. Katie’s focus at EnGen is on the underserved U.S. immigrant and refugee population. EnGen is committed to removing English as a barrier, serving employees at Fortune 500 companies like Amazon and Chobani, community organizations like New York Public Library and institutions of higher education like the Community College of Denver and the University of Maryland.
