About Michelle Day

Michelle Day is VP of HR at Pearson, the world’s learning company, where she leads HR for the Workforce Skills and Direct to Consumer divisions, plus Corporate Strategy, Marketing and Communications. Prior to joining Pearson, Michelle led HR for Sales and Marketing at Hologic and was a two-time winner of the Circle of Excellence Award. Early career experiences at Boston Scientific in Sales, Marketing and Learning and Development helped shape Michelle’s view of how HR can make its mark on an organization – not as a check–the-box policy and procedure function but one that is integrated in the business, driving strategic value and delivering excellence with the talent agenda.
