About Tony Sandonato

Tony Sandonato leads learning and development and corporate events at Wyndham Destinations, which features “Destination U,” the corporate university designed to develop and grow a team of 25,000 associates spanning approximately 110 countries across the globe. 

Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, Wyndham Destinations is the world’s largest vacation ownership and exchange company, and offers everyday travelers the opportunity to own, exchange or rent their vacation experience. 

Prior to joining Wyndham Destinations in 2005, Sandonato spent seven years in various learning and development roles with Colonial Bank N.A., Union Bank of Florida, and Burdines-Macy’s Department Stores in Miami. 

Sandonato and the team at Wyndham Destinations have received a number of awards for their innovative talent development work from ARDA, the trade association representing the vacation ownership and resort development industries. One of their earliest industry awards was Chief Learning Officer’s Business Impact Award in 2009. 

Sandonato holds a B.S. in education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Senior Professional HR certification from HRCI.
