About John Mattox

John Mattox serves clients by helping them develop measurement strategies and measure the impact of curriculum on critical business measures. Throughout his career he has led measurement teams at Arthur Andersen, PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG. In 2010 he joined the Metrics That Matter team as the director of research. In that role he authored many white papers and two books, “Predictive Analytics for Human Resources” (2014) with Jac Fitz-enz and “Learning Analytics: Measurement Innovations to Support Employee Development” (2016) with Mark Van Buren and Jean Martin. Currently, he is responsible for product marketing at Explorance Metrics That Matter. He lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife and three children.
