About Tamera Maresh-Carver

Tamera Maresh-Carver is the managing director of global learning and
development at FedEx Express where she is responsible for organizational
effectiveness, global leadership training, management skills training,
training technology, and data analytics.

She began her career with FedEx in 1998, starting as a delivery courier
and moving up the ranks of management. She has held numerous leadership
positions across the country and has led global learning and development
since 2017. Maresh-Carver’s accomplishments include:
Three-time winner of the prestigious FedEx Five Star award.
Quality Expert in 2015.
Four time Quality award finalist for project leadership.
Outstanding people results.

Maresh-Carver holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in
organizational psychology. In both academic pursuits she graduated with
distinction. She lives in Germantown, Tennessee, with her spouse, son,
and two rescue dogs and is passionate about golf and women’s basketball.
