Theuns Botha is the Vice President of Enterprise Sales at 2U, Inc. 2U is a global leader in education technology that partners with world-class universities and institutions to power digital and in-person educational offerings. Theuns’ role as the VP of Enterprise sales involves managing the business development activities, maximising the sales contribution from corporate companies and feeding client needs back into the organization for sustainable and long-term growth. Enabled by strong entrepreneurial skills, resilience, and a background rooted in sales, Theuns managed to transform the enterprise division from a small team, to a global department over the past 5 years. This exponential upscaling has been the result of strategically solving companies’ training and development needs with innovative enterprise solutions such as the 2U Learning token credit model. Theuns holds a Bachelor of Marketing Degree from the University of South Africa and has completed certificates in Advanced Project Management, Data Analysis, Managerial Finance, Digital Business Strategy, MBA essentials, and Management from the University of Cape Town, MIT, LSE and Yale respectively. Theuns lives in Cape Town with his wife and baby daughter.
