Jesse Jackson serves as the Head of Consumer & Community Banking and Firmwide Operations New Joiner Experience for JPMorgan Chase. His responsibilities include leading the global team that delivers a broad spectrum of hiring talent from complex banking to branch level associates. This globally distributed high impact Talent Acquisition function ensures the business has the talent it needs for long-term success.
Jesse has been with the JPMorgan for over 30 years, joining the bank via the firm’s Management Development Program after completing five years of active duty in the United States Navy. He has held other global roles including Head of Product for Firmwide Employee Experience for Integrated Help, Firmwide Head of Learning and Career Experience for JPMorgan Chase plus several national leadership roles within both Commercial Banking and Business Banking, serving as Client Service Executive for both lines of business. Jesse has also held various Consumer Banking management roles.
Jesse holds a Doctorate degree in Education from New York University with a concentration in Leadership and Innovation. He also holds a Master degree from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, both with a major in Economics. He completed J. P. Morgan Leading through Execution and Leadership Edge training. Jesse also completed Silicon Valley Product Group’s Product Training Program, he holds Six Sigma Quality Improvement and Total Quality Management certifications.
Jesse currently serves as the Co-Chair of JPMorgan’s Black Organization for Leadership Development (BOLD). He served as a Working Group member for New York City Mayor’s Future of Workers Task Force and is a board member to Education Trust a not-for-profit focused on education equity. Jesse resides in New York with his wife and son.
